Start by listing organisational resources in categories of Tangible resources, Intangible resources, Processes and systems and Organisational culture in the first column. In the second column, match each of the resources with a capability that you identified in column 3 in the previous table. For the ratings in the third column (where the rating takes place), rate each capability relative to the closest two competitors by evaluating how far away NutriNuts capability is from the closes competitors. In the previous table (Section 1.2) the capabilities of NutriNut were compared to the competitors capabilities. Now the aim is to put a rating on how the competitors capabilities compare to NutriNut. Use an X or tick (??) to indicate for each capability how you would rate NutriNut against the competitors: a tick or cross in the 0 column means that their capabilities are more or less the same. If you consider NutriNuts capabilities much better than the competitors, you would rank it to the positive side (+1 or +2or +4, depending on how much better you consider NutriNuts capability linked to a specific source.
